Growing a tech help channel today isn’t about posting one video and hoping people find it. It’s about sharing useful tips in the places where people already spend their time.
For me, that means using both TikTok and YouTube to share quick PC tips, shortcuts, and simple fixes through 8BitDiva.

Why I Use Both TikTok and YouTube
TikTok and YouTube each do different jobs.
TikTok is brilliant for short, fast tips. Things like keyboard shortcuts, hidden features, or quick fixes work really well there.
YouTube is better for longer videos. It’s where I can explain things properly, show step-by-step solutions, and go into more detail.
By using both platforms, I can:
- Reach new people quickly on TikTok
- Help people in more depth on YouTube

It means more people get the help they need.
My Simple Sharing Process
I keep my process easy and repeatable.
First, I find a useful PC tip or common problem. This might be something I’ve discovered myself or something people keep asking about.
Next, I record my screen and explain the tip clearly.
Then I create two versions:
- A short version for TikTok
- A longer version for YouTube
The short clip shows the main idea.
The longer video explains everything properly.
I don’t use expensive equipment. Just clear recording, simple editing, and easy-to-follow instructions.
